"My relative is a resident of The Village. It's very clean. He's very well kept, and he has very good care. He's always clean and looks clean. They get him up and around, and he likes the food a lot. I really do like it a lot. We were just thinking maybe if we could find something cheaper, but considering they have the nursing home right there also, we just kind of decided that might be best. I have tried the food and it is good. He doesn't participate in activities because that's just him, but they do have them. I can't say a lot, but I know they've asked him. He likes to go out, watch TV, sit and visit, and stuff."

"We found a community for my father. It is called Vintage Hills of Indianola. I just thought it was great. My dad is going to be there in the fall. The staff was absolutely friendly. They were really kind. My dad said he wouldn't move in without his dog, and at Vintage Hills, they were really welcoming in that regard. That was what really made the decision. Other places said they were OK with the dog, but they really weren't as enthusiastic. Also, my dad would have a choice about whether he wants to participate or not in their activities. They have a dining area, and I saw their menu. In their dining area, residents are free to sit anywhere they want. Also, if you want to have all the family eat together, your family can come and they will have a private dining area for you. "
