Although the rooms at Collinsville are not modern, the staff and how well they take care of the residents is more important to me. Any time I have visited my dad who is currently in the rehab section, the staff is always so nice and helpful. They seem to all really care about him and how he is doing. I am not as familiar with their activities as he has only been there for short amounts of time. But I've noticed a calendar displaying their activity schedule in his room and it looks like they have a lot to offer. Since he is in the rehab section, I am familiar with his going to physical therapy. The therapists who work with them are really great. I would highly recommend this facility.

In the fall of 2019 I was in rehab for 3 months following an accident. I was familiar with the Collinsville facility having visited residents and participated in our Marine Corps League visitation twice each month. I was thankful they had an opening for me to do my rehab. I had to learn to do everything--take care of myself, walk. etc. The staff was very understanding and patient with me considering my limitations at the time. I cannot say enough good things about Collinsville facility and their staff. I definitely recommend this facility anytime I know someone needs rehab or a long term residence. It is clean and up-to-date with treatments. I cannot say enough good things!

My Grandmother is a full time resident at Collinsville and I cannot recommend this facility enough! All the staff I have met are very professional and you can se that they truly care for all the residents at the facility. The facility is very, very clean and very well maintained. There are plenty of rooms available and a high chance for a resident to get a private room, as my Grandmother has. The staff provides many different activities for the residents and even takes them out on field trips away from the facility. My Grandmother has been to three other rehab facilities in the past and none of them came close to matching this facility in terms of care, professionalism, services, cleanliness, and condition. My only complaint is that I can't leave more than five stars with this review! :)

I spent 26 days in Collinsvillel Healthcare and Rehab as a patient in 2016. I had a total reverse shoulder replacement. The care I received was first class. All the caregivers were very loving and caring. I could have gone to the ends of the earth and not found a facility as good as Collinsville. I recommend this facility every day to someone. The faclity is clean, the meals were excellent, and the care and physical therapy were top=notch. I highly recommend it for long term care or short term rehabilitation.

Collinsville Health Care and Rehabilitation is an excellent facility. My mother was a resident for 2 years and 2 months prior to her death in 2009. She received top notch care from everyone, in a loving and caring manner. The staff goes above and beyond, making the residents feel safe, secure and most of all....LOVED like family. Not a day goes by that I don't brag on Collinsville Health Care. The facility is so clean that you could literally eat off their floors. Not fancy, but clean, with a very caring staff. I highly recommend Collinsville to families needing this care for one of their loved ones. You will not be sorry!

My paternal grandmother went into this nursing home roughly around 2005 and lived there until she passed in 2010. It's the only nursing home in a small town in a small county, and none of the residents were particularly well off. And it showed. The facility itself was on the other side, but the caregivers there were top notch and really invested themselves in making sure their residents were comfortable and well cared for. My grandmother lived out the last few years of her life in good hands, which was no less than what she deserved, as hard as she worked to take care of her family. I would have rated this facility higher had the decor been a bit less drab and the furnishings more modern, but that is an more of an indictment of the medicaid system than it is of Collinsville Healthcare and Rehab. I wish all lower end facilities could be staffed with people that care as much as they do here.
