They have attended Seniors and Company 5 days a week for the past 18 months and I truly believe that this has helped them tremendously. The staff at the center is so knowledgeable and loving and most importantly experienced in dementia. They have been a great resource to me and my siblings regarding care of the patient with dementia and also ways to talk with them as the dementia progresses. My parents were reluctant to go at first but the atmosphere is so welcoming and warm that it was only a matter of time before this became just part of their regular routine. I have nothing but high praises for this adult day care. "

They really get to know the client and work with them at their own level. There are activities like crafts, games, puzzles, movies to engage them, as well as daily exercise and current events review to engage body and mind. They also go on field trips out in the community, like museums and bowling, or to parks. They get a nutritious breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks and encouragement to eat. They even provide transportation! Being able to send my sister here daily and know that she is safe and cared for, has enabled me to continue caring for her at home, while still having a life of my own and avoiding burnout.
