Patty came with me full-time and stayed with my mom. She got her dressed, got her to activities, and to the wedding. I could not have managed to bring my mom to my daughter's wedding without the agency. When I bring my mom up here for a visit, I call them. Right now I am trying to keep her in independent living as long as possible I liked that they were very easy to work with and they never let me down. They always found somebody. They had reliable, good people that spoke English well, were generally caring towards my mom, and did what I asked them to do. My mom has to be motivated to get out of bed or she will lay there all day. They had to motivate my mom to get out of bed and get to the physical therapist. My mom would fight them all the way. When I moved her up here for a visit, I got her walking again. I couldn't have gotten my mom walking again without the agency.

There is nothing they could have done to make my life easier. They made life positive by following up, and the caregiver we have now is wonderful. We had several absolute outstanding caregiver but we also had some caregiver that were not quite as outstanding.

The last girl that I had was very good, but the first one was not. The last caregiver helped by doing all that I asked and I didn't even have to ask her. She saw it needed to be done and just did it. It depends on who you send. They need to teach them to do the things they see that needs to be done instead of waiting for us to ask them to do something.
