When my Dad finally accepted that we need additional help to care for my Mother who was starting her final stages of alzheimers Hospice was a blessing. My Dad and I were doing everything from the 36 hour days to bathing, feeding, rocking, crying, screaming and I was also working. The staff from Hospice came in introduced themselves to Mom, which she took up with Rebecca really fast. Her nurse Mary was very helpful in explaining everything to Dad and myself. The only regret I have is not having Hospice in the home sooner. It would have saved my Dad from several stay in the hospital due to him wearing himself completely down before asking me to move home and before Hospice got involved. I am very greatful to all the wonderful caring staff at Pennyroyal Hospice especially Mary, Tina, and Rebecca. Thank you ladies for what you do for others.
