I have had 3 family members cared for by Hospice of North Iowa-my mom, my mother-in-law and my father -in-law. My father in-law was cared for at home and the nurse, Schelli, was excellant, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She made a difficult time much easier. My mom and my mother in law were cared for at the end at the Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. Our family came from all over the country and felt right at home. The doctors are board certified in Palliative medicine and ensured that my moms were comfortable through the dying process. The staff at the house were wonderful and provided very tender, professional care. It was so peaceful and beautiful there with the private rooms, family areas and gardens. I would not hesitate to recommend their service to anyone who wants the best care for their loved ones.
