About Riverton Senior Housing in Riverton, Wyoming
Chartered in October 1971, this was the pilot program for what is now REACH Foundation's ongoing mission of providing housing for "Seniors". A few charter Club members signed personal notes to raise money for this facility. Once in place, financial support was sought and obtained from Federal housing programs. Riverton Senior Housing is a one story, 27 apartment complex, intended for seniors who qualify for assistance in meeting their rental expenses. Apartments have patios, flower beds, and large landscaped lawn areas that are maintained by management staff. Physically self sufficient individuals; men, women, and couples; who are 62 years of age or older with income limitations find the Riverton Senior Housing an island of safety and security.
