"We toured Parkview Senior Living. It was very nice. It was very clean and there were no odors. We did not see any of their activities. They have a library and a dining area, and the rooms have adequate space. It had a little bump-out kitchen area. The staff was very nice and answered any questions that we had."

"My grandparents have led pretty cool lives. They hitchhiked across the country as youngsters. Grandpa was a park ranger and later a rural postman. Throughout their lives, they attended church and were generally good people the type that could be counted on when someone was in need. Amazingly, they both remain physically strong well into their eighties. But when their judgment noticeably diminished, my family chose to help them transfer into nursing home care at Pinewood Terrace. Pinewood seems like a decent place to be. According to the grandparents, the food is terrific and they enjoy their meals very much. The nursing staff always seems friendly and helpful, although perhaps slightly understaffed at times. The facility has always notified our family whenever the grandparents needed something (clothing, supplies, etc. or when a big event was coming up). Over all, for their safety, security, and comfort, I am glad that they are there. I feel that I can trust them to be in good hands. "

"I was a resident of Buena Vista Healthcare. I had no problems with it. I think they did not have private rooms. They only had two people per room. The staff was very helpful. All of my concerns were taken care of. The food was fine. It's all on one floor, no stairs. They have some activities and I could be involved with some. They have libraries. They have group sessions to keep people a little more active. It was clean. It's not noisy. If somebody needed some help, they were right there to help them."

"The one that I found is Providence St. Joseph, and they have been wonderful. He was in the hospital side of Providence, they had an openin, and we just moved him over the long term care. He has access to physical and speech therapy. I would recommend the facility. The rooms are clean and smell good. People are always available to talk to and answer questions. This one is perfect as we live in Chewelah, and when the opening came, we took advantage of it. I would highly recommend them. "
