"The one that I found is Providence St. Joseph, and they have been wonderful. He was in the hospital side of Providence, they had an openin, and we just moved him over the long term care. He has access to physical and speech therapy. I would recommend the facility. The rooms are clean and smell good. People are always available to talk to and answer questions. This one is perfect as we live in Chewelah, and when the opening came, we took advantage of it. I would highly recommend them. "

"We toured The Bridge at Sandpoint for my mom. It was a wonderful place, and the tour was great. It was very clean and very friendly. I liked the location. I liked the dining room, and the activities list looked great. It looked like a great place on the tour. They had arts and crafts, game nights, and Bible studies. They were gardening with the residents, too. It's very welcoming, and it was a great community. They had a private area where you could schedule to bring your family and have a private dining night."

"The care that she got I thought was good; I don’t have any complaints about the Life Care facility or their staff. They had an activity room where they would do exercise, and they would go out once or twice a week to different places or play dominos and bingo. I thought that it was excellent, what they did for the people that are there. Cleanliness is excellent, and most of the staff was very good. The management of the facility took care of it very well and really did a very good job. They were the most expensive in the Sandpoint area and it was just too much, especially for a small town like that, but other than that everything else is good. "

"We’ve put my mom in Alpine Vista. She’s in a 1-bedroom apartment that doesn’t have a kitchen. Everything is nice. The staff is very professional. My mom has tasted the food, and she says it’s fine, but she doesn’t praise it. They have a bus, and they take day trips. They do a shopping trip on a certain day of the week, and they take them to parks or activities around town when there is something that they could attend."

"The staff is wonderful and the facility is clean. The staff will go to great lengths to help the residents feel at home and cared for. There is even a friendly resident dog that hangs around."
