The rooms are very clean. The whole facility inside and outside are very clean and well kept. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable they know most of the residents by name. My mother was well taken care of and we were notified anytime there was a change or they had done anything. They helped my dad a lot also. They showed a lot of concern for him even though he wasn’t a resident.my mother probably wouldn’t have made it as long as she did without their excellent care and support.

What I like about Chaste City is that they keep in contact. It is a long distance, and the last time we were there was quite some time ago, but they keep us informed and I receive phone calls from them. My sister just had her flu shot and they contacted me to let me know she was fine. The line of communication is open, and she is doing well. They have activities and she participates a little to the best of her degree. Also, when she arrived she had no clothes, so they provided her with clothing. I have very good feedback for Chaste City. The only complaint that I have is that they are too far away. If they were closer, I would love for her to stay. When you come in, you have to be buzzed in and then escorted to the unit because the unit stays locked so that they do not wander. She has a wandering bracelet on. The floor plan where they have the dining area and the activities is an all open area, so they are able to interact with the residents more. They have three meals a day, so they come out of their rooms and have their meals. Out in the open area, they had a large piano and people who play the piano. Some of the aides interact with the residents as well. It is a very friendly environment.

I was a transportation provider and went to the Chase City Health and Rehabilitation Center to pick up a client. I had to wait for him, so I just walked around the facility. The place looked good, but I was told they didn't have enough help and that is what they need to improve on.
