Millard County Care and Rehabilitation

My Aunt has been here several years and recently passed. She seemed to enjoy the helpful & friendly staff. & liked the activites provided I visited there & it was a very nice facility.

I volunteered at the millard county care center during high school. Some of my duties included cleaning the rooms, vacuuming the chapel, assisting with serving meals to the residents, and visiting with the residents. I would volunteer 3 to 4 times a month for two school years. The building was very well maintained on the inside as well as the landscaping on the outside. The building was built around 2005 so the building was quite new. It was modern and very clean. I would get along very well with the care center staff. They were professional and presented themselves very well. They appreciated us teenagers volunteering our time at the care center. The residents were very friendly and seemed as if they really enjoyed our company even though we were strangers. Some residents enjoyed our company because their own family wouldn't come and visit them. Some of the residents just needed someone to talk to. They enjoyed telling their life stories.
