My brother was at Rosewood Assisted Living II. After the rehab, he went to this place because I didn't feel like he was ready to go back home. I was concerned that he might have another event, so we decided to bring him here so that he could be observed for several weeks to make sure he was okay to go home. He was private pay. He was mainly there because they did his meals for him, and he wouldn't be alone when he had to shower and stuff. There was somebody who could check on him, too. He was mainly there because it's supervised, so it is assisted living because they kind of keep an eye on him. If he had something happen, they could take care of it. There were some issues that kind of got leaked out that probably shouldn't have gotten leaked out between workers and the administration. So they needed to be more confidential in respect to their discussions or whatever. Anyway, they were really a good place, other than that. The workers are very patient and really try to build a rapport with all the residents. I really don't have any complaints about the workers. I ate there, and I thought the food was good. My brother did not like it, though. There was only one certain cook he liked. They do home-cooking kind of food, like pork chops. I ate some chicken and dumplings when I was there, and they were good. I think they cook well. The building has been there a long time, but they have made upgrades to it, so it looks nice. Personally, I think all these places are a bit expensive, but Rosewood is more reasonable than the other places. They aren't overly expensive, but they are a bit pricey for a small town. This is a rural area, and there aren't a lot of options.
