They have patient and friendly staff. Rooms are average sized and have necessary accommodations. Staff does a great job of keeping up facility and cleaning/maintaining (not sure what they were talking about in the previous review). It is situated in a quiet/nice part of Commerce without a lot of road noise. I highly recommend this place!

Food is so bad the residents have to order out or if they have a kitchen they will cook themselves. The staff that work there are thieves they will still you blind. They do not fix what broken there are ceilings falling down and there is no hot water in the mornings. I have visited many nursing homes and this place is the worst I have been in.

This facility was by far the most the most warm and comfortable of the places my grandmother has lived over the past several years. The owner is very sincere and truly cares about his residents. All of the nursing staff I had contact with were very sweet and caring. As far as atmosphere goes, this place gets ten out of ten. The estate is set in Commerce, which is a bit "country." My grandmother grew up in the country, so this place kind of reminded her of home. The fact that Country Home Estates is not particularly "fancy" gives it some of its appeal. The facilities are clean, well lit, etc., but not ostentatious. My grandmother especially enjoyed being able to have her own room, which is the norm rather than the exception here. There are various sizes of apartments, some of which open to a patio outdoors. The facility provides meals for its residents, and these tended to be healthy and hearty, as well as home-cooked. All in all, Country Home Estates was a place that felt as much like home as it could without actually being home. The staff was what really made this place stand out as a place that cares.

My grandmother currently resides at Country Home Estates. They offer apartment-sized rooms with doors that open outside, and the set-up of the room gives my grandmother a sense of independence and dignity. The dining room is equipped with homey wooden tables and chairs, and the residents chat amiably over meals. The facility feels like a large house, with comfortable couches, TVs, and living areas interspersed with the rooms. The staff are very friendly and get to know the residents as well as their visitors. While the food is not necessarily consistently delicious, it is about on par with the food provided at other assisted living facilities my grandmother has stayed in. The director of the facilities is also a very personable man. After meeting him and chatting with him several times, his dedication and sincerity is apparent. He is willing to drop anything to chat with residents or their families, and has always been very helpful when we had any questions.
