The food in there is really bad, Don't know how the people don't starve I was there for 10 days broke leg you are treated like jail .The staff is hard working most of the nursing staff is good rehab is great

My father was at Signature Healthcare of Fentress County in a double occupancy. The room was of a fair size. They could bring some of their own personal items, so they had a couple of chairs, and access to a bathroom between rooms. The staff treated my father very well. The food was fine. They had different activities, like bingo, games, puzzles, and people who came in to sing or do different things.

Overall I felt that this was an effective provider. The staff was friendly but also seemed distracted at times. They were not completely focused on the task at hand. However, I was relieved to see one resident request assistance and was promptly taken care of. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating toward any visitors. The facility is over all a clean establishment and well-maintained. It is perhaps a bit outdated but this is not uncommon to the area. I enjoyed my visit and would recommend this facility to any one needing care in the general area.

All-in-all the best place my sisters and I could have placed our dear mother. The facility is always clean and most of the staff seem genuinely interested in the well-being of the residents. The therapy department is outstanding and relate to each of the residents in a very personal way. There are, as in any health care facility, some problems in communication, but the staff and administration have always been open to working through those issues.
