My mom has moved into Edgewood Mitchell Memory Care. It was in their local community, and they seemed to have a good activity person there. They're always making sure that my mom is staying active and doing the things that are available to do there, which I like. They exercise every morning. They have a devotional. They have a pastor come in from different churches each week. They have seasonal activities, like right now they're getting ready to make Easter eggs pretty soon. My mom has a room for a single person. It has a bathroom and a room for her dresser and a bed. It has a nice bay window. Everything is all on one level there. Another thing I like is that it is a smaller building. So far the only people I've had any interaction with were the activity person and some of the CNAs, and so far, that's all been good. With regard to food, I had a meal with my mom on the first day. And most often I'm usually there to visit her just after a meal, and I always ask her if she likes the food, and she said she does. She hasn't had any complaints, and she eats well there.
