My friend stayed at Senior Care of Marion for a little while. They were understaffed, especially on the weekends. The rooms were small, but they served their purpose. It was two beds in a room. Overall, we weren't happy with it. The staff members were okay, and they tried. The food was poor, especially on the weekends. It should be half-price on the weekends. The residents didn't even get out of bed on the weekends. They could improve their manpower.

My father was a rehab resident here, the rooms were small and cramped and the building is old, I heard they bought and renovated the facility but from the looks of it they should have just torn it down. They did not have enough staff to meet dads needs or hardly any staff for that matter, the ones we interacted with were rude and it was like an act of congress to get anything out of them. Dad wasn't offered any water or changed regularly and developed a UTI and wound in the short time he was here. We ultimately transferred him to a much better facility and he has since improved enough to return home. I would not recommend this place whatsoever.

I always love visiting this nursing center. The staff is very friendly as well as the residents. Many of the residents don't have family or someone to show them that they care, but whether we know the resident or not we always try to bring a smile on their face. The center is always clean and well organized, and it always carries a wonderful smell of food cooking. The residents actually have a home there, unlike a normal nursing home, the nursing home staff makes sure the residents know that each of them are special in their own way. Many of the residents can't walk around like others, because they are bed bound from being weak. Even though the situation is like that no one still gets more attention than the other. If I knew anyone that was considering to relocate to a nursing center, this would be my main nursing center to recommend.
