Phaire's Care's price was a lot cheaper, but you get what you pay for. If you don't have as much money, it would be a nice facility. It didn't feel like a family. It was very lonely and it was very dark in there. It was also older but very clean. We had an appointment but they were unaware that we were coming. One of the staff members there was very nice and took us around. The rooms were dark and dingy, not bright and cheery.

This facility was nasty, in fact it eventually had to close down. The employees that I met were sorely lacking in compassion for the those living there and it seemed like they did not want to do any work. There were times I would go in there and not see a single employee once, there was not anyone even in the front to keep an eye on the door. If I had a question for someone then I would have to go on a hunt and just keep calling out "hello?" until someone finally heard me. The family friend that was living there lost a lot of weight because of poor meal plans. Sometimes they would just serve sandwiches for dinner instead of a real meal. The place was dirty and smelled bad. I will say that one thing I did appreciate was that the men and women lived in different sides of the building.
