I had a very good experience at Silver Creek Terrace when I went there for a visit. I met with the manager who is also a nurse and spent about an hour touring me around the facility. We sat down, and she told me about the cost and the services. She was very open and very direct. The rooms were very attractive, and there's a lot of greenery around the facility. The place is also spotlessly clean. The people that work there are very prepped to serve the residents. I also saw residents interacting with each other.

I go and see my father regularly at Elk Haven. I think they are understaffed, but the people that do work there are very good and very friendly. My dad is not really happy with the food, but he is really hard to please so I can't really go by him. They have all kinds of activities. I just think they need to have more spacious rooms.

They had fantastic care for my mother! She has Alzheimer's and the staff was very knowledgeable about the topic and had many different ways to help her. They were super nice and created the best environment possible.

We had a thorough search for a better place for our grandmother who began staying in this facility during the fall of 2009. So far, most of our experiences with the facility have been very positive. I really enjoyed the hospitality service they had there. When we go to visit her she always had someone in her room saying hello. The facility is open, neat and presents a home like atmosphere. The residents I met during my visits were happy and really satisfied with their stay. There is a surprising variety of activities offered there, and when I have gone to visit my grandma she has often been excited at the experiences she has had living there. Because my grandmother has her own one bedroom apartment, she has been able to retain a great deal of her independence while living there. Aside from some minor complaints about the menu offered, she has been very happy there, and it is nice knowing that she is in a safe and comfortable place. Pets are allowed in the facility. I would recommend it for loved ones.

I was much younger when visiting the facility. We were getting ready to visit it while singing Christmas carols to the members. The facility itself was very nice and the staff seemed to not be overwhelmed with the amount of residents. We all sang and visit the rooms and the tenets seems very happy to see us. The rooms looked comfortable and most patients seemed generally happy.
