I had relatives and neighbors that were at Laurel View Village, and they had no problem with it. It's a really nice place and it is a whole lot bigger. They have a swimming pool, a weight room, a craft room where they do some woodworking, and a lot more amenities. My two neighbors bought cottages there, while my father-in-law got a two-room apartment. The staff was great. Their food was very good, and they had a nice restaurant. They give people an allowance per month. My father-in-law would have us there and feed the whole family because he didn't use all his allowance. Also, they were a good value for the price.

My parents have selected Laurel View Village. The cleanliness is a five. The staff is very helpful, pleasant, and very friendly. They were able to answer all the questions. I have talked to others who have eaten there and gave the food high reviews.

My loved ones used to live in Laurel View Village. They lived in an apartment at the independent living level. That place was seriously excellent. They had a 2-bedroom apartment. They had two meals a day. They could go for breakfast, lunch, or supper, which was excellent. I've eaten there, and it was very good. I like that their personal care residents are getting the same food, as those in independent living. They had a lot of amenities. People could go places. They played shuffleboard. They had bands come in, and they had kids come in. They had a lot. They also took trips. They would go to a baseball game or something like that.

We went to Laurel View Village for an open house. You get an apartment there, which includes two meals a day, and I would recommend it to anybody. They have two swimming pools and it's top of the line. The facilities were excellent. There was no odor around the place and people were on their own. They had two different chefs prepared meals and they used cloth napkins and tablecloths with flowers on it. They have a restaurant right inside so you could eat there or you could have people come and eat in the dining room with you and then they charge you. They were expensive, but they couldn't be more gracious.
