left my love one here against my better judgement came in 3 days in a row and found them either laying in bed or in a chair clothes wet with urine they said they were waiting for me to take care of them. my loved one is a type 1 diabetic and to days he had a blood sugar in the forties and they didn't seem concerned at all said just give him some candy or whatever you would do for them at home. Would not recommend this facility.

Highland View is now part of the Guardian Healthcare system. First thing I noticed is that the place is immaculately clean. Mom has been there 3 months and staff is attentive and caring. There have been a number of times they have gone out of their way to make sure she is happy. She enjoys the wide variety and excellent preparation of the food! Lots of planned activities and church services. I am there often and have not seen 1 single instance of impatience, rudeness, roughness or any inappropriate behavior by a staff member towards a resident. We are counting blessings that we found this place.

My sister-in-law is in Highland Pointe Health and Rehab Center. She's at long-term now, and they have nice-sized rooms. The food is OK, but it comes really late at night. They're a little understaffed. All in all, it's very clean but then again it's new, so it should be clean. People are very friendly.

I removed my mother from this horrible place. I cannot believe the inspectors have not shut them down. My mother came home to me bruised cut and bleeding. When you ask how things like this happened you get lies and nothing but lies. they refused to discharge my mother into my care, hospice and even our PCP care until they got past the 100 day mark to send out a $4,000 bill. In a secret meeti9ng they was to have and I found out about I was screamed at, lied to and I proved to them with all dates, names and all tests done what they have done. If you have a loved one you truly love and care about DO NOT send them to Highland View in Brockway, PA.
