This is a great facility. The guests have a variety of activities on site they can take part in. There is a garden with flowers and vegetables, an activity room, a tv room, different events the staff will take you to via their bus. The dining room is comfortable and the kitchen feels like a large home kitchen. The rooms are comfortable large enough for multiple visitors. From experience, I know that residents can choose to bring in their own furnishings or use the facility's. The staff is friendly and sweet. They take extra time and effort to set up meaningful events for the residents. They understand that quality of life is very important to individuals and their families. I facilities and clean and safe. There are a limited amount of doors so residents don't get confused and visitors enter through the main entry right next to the head nurse's office. This is a welcoming, clean, safe, fun facility. I would recommend it to individuals and their families needing this type of aresouce.

Willow Creek Assisted Living is a home in Heppner, Oregon where many of the towns elders spend their last years of life. It is a comfortable, clean, welcoming place. The appartments vary in sizes from couple's suites, to single resident rooms. The staff is amazing. They love their jobs. Whether it's taking their residents to an event in town, or serving them lunch. I have never seen a staff member of Willow Creek Assisted Living have less than a smile on their faces. Residents can choose what they would like to be involved in. The town has many volunteers that come up to play cards, read, talk or garden. My youngest daughter visits there twice a year with her pre-school. At Halloween, the pre-school students come to sing to the residents and show off their costumes. In turn, the residents have cookies and miniture pumpkins that they have grown, waiting for th little ones. The young students get some one on one time with the residents. My daughter always comes away with another "grandparent" in her head. At Christmas time, the pre-school students are welcomed to practice their Christmas Songs. It is a wonderful relationship between the two facilities. One that I am confident is beneficial to both the seniors AND the pre-school students.Willow Creek Assisted Living is a top-notch facility because the residents of Heppner take pride in it and invest in it. I would recommend it to anyone.
