I visited this facility a number of times a few years ago. I thought that the staff members were very helpful and made thoughtful decisions pertaining to the residents' needs. The patient support staff were proficient in their skills and were able to meets the needs of the residents in a timely manner. The amenities were adequate in that the facility seemed to be a pleasant place for a resident to live. There is a sitting room/game room where residents can congregate as well. The food that was provided to the residents appeared to be nutritious and balanced. From what I could tell, the residents by and large seemed to enjoy the facility. Residents that could not care for themselves sufficiently were assisted in a manner that provided safety and supported physiological integrity. Additionally, other aspects of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs were supported as well. These include love/belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. The staff made an effort to make residents feel comfortable, and they provided activities to boost achievement and creativity.
