I am/was a resident of this facility

I love my apartment here in Courtyard Apartments. I got a deluxe. I have a large living room, a large bedroom, a small kitchen, and a small table in it where I can eat. The bathroom has closet space and a large bedroom closet, but I don't like where the building is. If I could just take my apartment up and sit it somewhere decent, I would be OK. I don't feel safe coming into my building. I'm a person who loves to go to bingo outside, and all the bingos are at night, but I can't go to it. If I come in at night, somebody on the next street over is walking through the parking lot with a pitbull, and then they're robbing people and stuff. I have to make it in before dark, or I wouldn't be safe. It's a nice building on the outside. They slapped a little paint on it. They also took up our carpet, took the pull cords out, and put up some cabinets in the apartment. That's about all they did. Then they changed the community room. They made it smaller. They put a panel in there that made it smaller, and made it two sides, which we didn't need at all. We were fine the way it was. They have activities that are kindergarten-like. We used to have bingo in here, but they took that away from us. We used to have ceramic. They took that away as well. So, now we do coloring and puzzles. I don't go to those since I can still go outside. A lot of the time, the only reason people go to the activities is because they have snacks. They don't go because it's something that they want to do, but they'll go for the food, and they'll just get up and go back to their apartment or go outside or whatever. This is an HUD, so the rent is reasonable. There are two people in here paying $1,100 a month because they are still working. Most people in here are low-income, like some pay $1,600. I pay $420 a month. We have a tip for electricity. The way we sign up for that tip is they give you a donation for your summer months, and then they give another donation for your winter months. We also got people in here paying $200, and people with no income who only pay the electric bill. It's been like that. When we moved in here first, it was like a Jewish community, and everything was nice, but these managers only want the paycheck. They don't care about this building. They won't give us security. People break in. They put cameras up outside, and when I called the police about my car and they came in to get a reading of the camera, they said they didn't work. They can't assign people parking here because there are too many residents. They got five handicapped parking on one side and they got four on the other.
