"The facility is in what remains of an old rural community hospital. The facility's age is obvious from the outside and some of the architecture and furniture on the inside. Like many nursing homes and retirement facilities, their is a distinct odor from the residents and the food that is prepared for them. The staff are nice although the fact they talk to the residents as children is both annoying and disheartening. The facility is run by Catholic nuns from the local convent, so there are ample symbols and artifacts of the Catholic Church throughout the facility. In terms of health care providing, the facility is average although the fact that it exists at all in rural North Dakota means it is better than nothing. The residents are purposely led outside their rooms and sometimes outside in order to boost their mental faculties and provide them with association with others. All in all, it's not a bad facility but certainly not a place of cheer or elation. "
