Hamlet House had private rooms. It was very clean. There were no offensive smells. The residents seemed to be very happy and taken care of. The staff who gave the tour knew many things about the home, and she was excellent.

My relative has been a resident of Hamlet House. Everything has been fine, it's a nice place, she likes it, and she seems happy there. They check on her, make sure she goes to her private doctor, and they take her to bed. They have a place for her to smoke. She has a private room, but a shared bathroom. They remodeled her room, and refurnished her unit, she has brand new furniture, and we take care of the bed linens, and wash her clothes. If she's able, she can wash her own clothes, or she can pay for it. All the doors outside are locked, and they unlock the door for you to come in and go out. The door to the smoking area is unlocked, but fenced in. Everybody has been nice, and everything we came up to them with, they fixed. They have three meals available and come around with snack carts three times a day.
