My grandpa became ill and began undergoing care at West Point Living Center. This was a very sad time for our family. We first saw the facilities and were skeptical. The building was in decent condition but you could tell that it was a very old building. Also, the rooms were pretty small without windows and residents had to share a room with another person. It doesn't have the nicest facilities your going to find. However, what it lacked in facilites it made up for in people which is the more important of the two in my opinion. Although, I wasn't there all the time, when I was there they treated my grandpa with respect and kindness. When he passed, I could see the sadness that the caregivers had and that convinced me that he was in good care. Overall the experience was as good as it could have been.
