This facility is quite nice but suffers from a lack of stimulating activities. Cottonwood Villa is quite nice from a physical perspective: the grounds are well kept, it is is a calm part of town, the building and infrastructure are modern and in good condition. The room in which my loved on stayed was well situated with a thoughtful layout. Additionally, the staff inspire confidence with their positive attitude, good hygiene and respectful manner. The one on one assistance that my loved one received was respectful and well executed. All in all, I felt comfortable with the service and care my loved on received. That said, my loved one was not happy at the facility as they complained that it was boring. They did not feel like there was a robust activities schedule nor that there were opportunities to interact with a variety of peers or in the community. While I can recommend this facility, it comes with the caveat that t needs to improve its entertainment and cultural stimulation.
