The staff is nice. However, if your loved one is suffering from medical conditions which require monitoring, a special diet, or other special care, this place May not be right for them. They did a poor job of managing my sister’s diabetes. While in the facility, her blood sugar numbers ranged from a soaring 900+ to a low of in the 30’s (resulting in a diabetic coma). She did not receive a special diabetic diet or close monitoring to make sure she took her meds and that her sugar numbers were closely monitored. There were other problems like this as well.

This facility has been dong aq good job of upgrading itself. When it was Evergreen, it was deplorable. Today, there is a new cadre of staff and physical therapists as well as trained RNs ad CNAs. The residents rooms are clean and the meals are well planned. The residents are happy. The business office was very helpful in getting the mountains of paperwork completed.

First impressions are deceiving!!!! Everything appears sunny and wonderful on the surface until you have a family member incarcerated for 3 years. Then the TRUTH emerges!! My mother has been neglected on all fronts. Her dentures have been broken....no notification. We took her dentures to Kalispell and had them fixed. Her glasses have been broken....no notification. New glasses are now being made. She has suffered through a mountain of neglect including sitting for hours in her own feces and urine and falling repeatedly . The aides are not trained to deal with the situations that arise. This facility receives FAILING grades on all counts.! PS...Health & Rehabilitation should instead read High Cost Dumping Ground.

The staff at Evergreen health care were very kind and helpful, they were very good at their Jobs. The amenities were good, they had everything needed at their facility, they could have had more. The facility could have used some upkeep, but wasn't run down or anything, some rooms where in better condition than others. Everyone seems happy at the facility and the residents get the care they need. They were located right next to the hospital, which I thought was very convenient.
