The care center is worn out and run down. The staff is mostly helpful and friendly but the social services people are abusive and full of lies. The nursing is barely adequate due to long hours and to many residents per nurse. The meals aren't fit to feed pigs. After 41 days in the facility I was informed I owed massive amounts of money tho social services had told me I would owe nothing. I am 61 years old and waiting for a triple by pass heart surgery, due to the central care and mistake I probably will not get the operation I plead with anyone looking to put a loved one in here to find anyplace else for them except here.

We chose Libby Care Center for my mother-in-law because she grew up in the area. She knows some of the people and the staff there because her mother also stayed in this facility until she died. I was not so impressed with the facility initially, but as I’ve gotten to know them a litttle bit more, I now have a better impression of the staff. They seem to be caring, helpful, and friendly. My mother-in-law is in a special care unit because of her Alzheimer's. She’s in a more locked-down situation because she tries to leave, so she’s more closely monitored there. Her room is a shared room. The food is OK. The dining area has tables for four and a pretty nice atmosphere due to staff members interacting with their residents. As for the activities, they have bingo, crafts, and church services.

My grandfather was a resident at the Libby Care Center for several weeks before his passing. During his time there, I visited him only two times due to the fact that I lived so far away and wasn't able to be there as often as I had wanted. During my visits, I was highly impressed with the kindness and consideration of the staff, the cleanliness of the facilities, the amount of activities that were available for the residents to partake in and the attention given to my grandfather's specific needs. During my last visit with him just a few days before he ultimately passed away, the nurses were very respectful of DNR request, although it was very hard for me to see them do nothing, they were honoring his wishes. They did a wonderful job of explaining everything to me and doing what they legally could. It was apparent that my grandfather was kept as comfortable as possible during his last days at the Libby Care Center.
