We got my brother in Golden Livingcenter because it is VA approved. We do like it really well. He has been there going on three months. I think they are very caring and very attentive. They like him. They show attention where attention needs to be. The only issue I have against them is the laundry. When the laundry comes back, it is not the right laundry most of the time. Otherwise, my brother likes it there. The food is good. The main thing is, it is a very clean nursing home. Regarding activities, they have times where they have crafts, times where they have people come in and sing, they have ministry on Sunday and a bingo day on Monday. Like Thanksgiving, they had an awesome day for everyone to come. On Christmas, they just had family come in and had personal time with cookies.
