I have visited facility many times seeing my father. I find all the people working there are friendly and professional. My father is well taken care of, the food is good, and the rooms are clean. They have several activities for the clients and patients. Everyone appears to be professional and knows how to complete their job in a timely manner. I appreciate all they do for the clients and patients that are in the Putnam County Care Center.

The Putnam County Care Center, all though clean and organized, is not a place I would reccomend to anyone. The staff seems to be lazy and unfriendly. Two of my grandmothers currently reside in this nursing home, being the fact its located in a small town and we had no other options. The staff is not prompt, and patients often go neglected of uncared for because of this. I believe there should be more nurses available, and the patients should be checked on, more often then the staff does. There is some good I wil give them credit for. They always have activities and things for the residents to do, and even have a special coordinator for such. They also take the residents on trips around town, so that they don't feel so cooped up. This being said, Putnam County Care Center could use some deep various changes, and a little work on the staff's part, but could possibaly be a much better facility in the future, with a little touching up.
