Bristol Manor is an assisted living facility. My great grandmother resided there for about 6 months. She then had to transfer to an actual nursing home. Bristol Manor was an excellent place I thought. They really made the residents feel at home. It was actually in an actual home and set up as such. I think this is wonderful, because it isn't such a huge jump for the elderly: they can still feel as if they are in the comfort of their own home. Another great thing about Bristol Manor was they hosted church every Sunday for the residents. A lot of facilities do this, but Bristol does it every Sunday. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to put their family, and feel confident and secure about them being there each and every day. Visiting hours also never end as long as you are a relative of the resident you may visit. I feel this is also a nice thing to have, being that residents need their family around just as they did when they lived in their own home. The nurses and other staff were very friendly and helpful, always doing things with a smile on their face. I give Bristol Manor two thumbs up!
