My father was released to Clark Mountain Nursing Home in Piedmont right after a major surgery to make sure he got professional nursing and medical care while enjoying some of the comforts and liberties that hospitals can't provide. The stay was very comfortable and the staff very helpful, knowledgable and professional with a general concern for my father's well being, comfort and recovery. My father has been a resident of this nursing facility for the past 11 months. He has had several near-death episodes during this time. The quick, knowledgable actions of the staff have been a major reason why we still have him to enjoy today. I have been in the medical field for over 30 years and have never seen a better run, professional nursing center as Clarks Mountain. Every staff member, from nursing, laundry, housekeeping, physical therapy and office staff are very cordial and very willing to help in any way they can. The administrator is very caring, and you know that your loved one is going to be taken care of with the utmost professionalism and best medical care given in a nursing facility. It is difficult to see a loved one have to be placed in a nursing home. But the Clarks Mountain facility is so well run, it gives me the peace of mind to know that Dad is being cared for so well.
