I visited my brother-in-law at Licking Residential Care. He has passed away now. However, we were both pleased with it. It was very clean and very nice. As far as we saw, it was very good care. They had a big open family room where they could come in and visit, had games and things. The food seemed very good. We were very impressed with the care. There were some residents out and some were at tables where they were eating. It seemed very nice. The dining room was well lit and very pleasant. It felt homey.

A very pleasant and clean facility. When you tour the building, you encounter residents putting puzzles together, browsing the well stocked library for a good book, or gathering in the dining room for live entertainment. The meals are home cooked by a dedicated staff, and are very tasty. The residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture to furnish their rooms. My friend installed a bird house outside his window, and spends hours watching the birds that visit. There is also a Sheltie dog that roams freely, and a large fish tank, lending to the homey feel. Many of the residents have participated in the Golden Age Games, and boast several medals. In summary, I give Licking Residential Care 5 stars!
