I am a resident of Sunnyside Care Center. I'm getting very good care. I have no complaints about my care. It's pretty exceptional. I'd been in a couple of other nursing homes, and this one is out of the way. They answer promptly and try to do whatever they can to meet my needs. I just have no complaints at all. They're very friendly and accommodating. Most of the time I enjoy their meal. It's clean. It's a very homey nursing home. They have various activities. They have various music and Bible studies which I enjoy. They have nail care, which I enjoy, too. I have a large group of ladies, we met once a month for many years, and so when I got into the nursing home, I asked them if I could have a room available to have that. They made it available to me and accommodated them with coffee and water and whatever we needed, and it's a private room. My cares are all being met, but it's expensive.

Dad was at Sunnyside Care Center for a few months. They didn’t seem to like the family being around a lot; it seemed more of an intrusion. They had larger rooms. The physical therapy workers seemed very good. The food was average like cafeteria food. The nice thing was that you’d be able to push my dad out in his wheelchair, and he could have a cigarette if he wanted one outside. A lot of these facilities won’t let people do that.
