Please find another center for your loved one. A family member was there for awhile and we felt it necessary to be there at least twice a day to be sure they were receiving care. Short staffed, rude, incompetent. The management doesn't care about the residents. Left two traveling nurses there during the evening, during a Covid outbreak alone. To pass meds, take dinner orders, pass trays, answer lights, do cares, showers etc. Ended up having to provide care to my loved one multiple times. One of those nurses quit on the spot for fear of losing their license. Made multiple calls to the DON. Got excuses that they had been there for almost 24 hours. But put on a great "show" when state came. The place was dirty, shabby and clearly this company only wants to make a buck. Could spend money and time to remodel the room and board side while the window sills were rotting and holes in frames between the walls. Staff was rude and disrespectful. They would take care of some and leave others. Some would sit at dinner with food in front of them and no help for well over 30 minutes. The doctor did rounds and talked to people in the dining room during lunch. Often the CNA's were forced to make breakfast because there were no kitchen staff. Call lights were frequently left out of reach and not answered. When questioned why it was taking over 20 minutes to answer they'd say we're busy. They wouldn't even pop in and ask what was needed. There were a few good staff and they knew how bad it was. Which is why they cannot keep help. I could go on and on but please don't put anyone you care about here.

Poor management and good luck trying to find them if you have an issue with your loved ones care. Multiple issues with billing for care that was not utilized. Management would ask nurses to forge assessments. A staff member in a direct care position had been incorrectly transferring a resident and management did nothing even though the transfer resulted in injury to the resident. Housekeeping is a joke and the building is filthy. Food choices are poor. Social worker is rude to staff, residents and families. No choice in pharmacy which is against resident rights.

My father was a resident for almost three years. During that time, I visited him everyday to insure he had proper care. The nurses and CNAs are more concerned with visiting with one another than they are with caring for their residents. Time and time again they were lazy, disrespectful, caused harm and allowed harm to occur to multiple residents. Upon my father's death I received three different and conflicting accounts of his last hours. In fact, two written, legally required records of his last hours conflicted with one another. When I inquired about those conflicts I was treated rudely and disrespectfully. Those in charge of this facility have no ethics, no common sense, and no compassion.

They do not rehab people and do not make sure Drs orders are followed. After knee replacement my dad was sent to this facility and they let him sit with his knee at 90 degrees and no movement of said knee, did not put the knee immobilizer on that was sent with him all because a PT was not there to do a intake for 1 and a half days! They knew he was coming but had "logistic concerns" and now his knee is not going to be the way the Dr would have liked it to be! Also, while visiting him call lights were ringing for a min of 15 min and the longest I heard was over 40 min. The staff did not work with PT at all with what they should be doing. So go visit the place before letting a loved one go there. I feel very sorry for those that are there and have to deal with this type of staff for their well being. Glad I moved him to a much better place where the staff cares.
