Rooms are nice. Food is great. Aids are working short. The owners are rude. They don’t acknowledge you or your loved one. Where are the activities?I am looking for another place for my relative.

My mother is at Serenity Village in Avon. It's a new facility and they have been hiring. They're getting everything done the way they want it to be run, and they're doing an excellent job. The food is a little bit on the meager side. I would like to see a little bit more, portion wise. The rooms are beautiful. Her room is new and spacious. She has a bedroom and a bathroom of her own. She's pretty happy there. They have exercises, community people come in and sing, there's comedy and fun things, they have a hairstylist once a week, and people come in to do their nails and toenails. They could get their residents out and about a little bit more. That is one thing they're lacking. They're building and it's getting better all the time. They have some really good staff members, but they have a lot of really young ones too. It's a beautiful place. They just need to get more staff members.
