New Horizen Cooperative apartment is an excellent placement for someone who prefers to live independently and is looking for a senior community apartment for themselves, a friend or a family member to live in. New Horizen is beautiful interior and exterior. Located in the heart of Madison Heights, near shopping malls, restaurants, hospitals, and beautiful surrounding neighborhoods. It is also a low income affordable senior luxury living for a little preice. It has nine floors and 126 apartments. the residsents maintain and manage their community. the residents are team and task oriented and are very social with one another also. They provide an array of services and amenities for their residents. Common Lounge areas, library, beauty/barber shops and a social interaction community. The surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful, quiet, safe and secure and a very low crime rate and is very affordable for any low income senior to live worry free and happy. While they continue to enjoy their senior years with other seniors to socialize, be happy and interact with. They also have luncheons and dinners for their residents to enjoy on a monthly basis. They also provide celebrations and parties for their residents as well.

We had short tour at New Horizons Cooperative. We saw the building, and we thought it was pretty worn down. It’s an old building, and the outside was not well maintained.
