"It was very pleasant, neat and clean. There were three people during the visit and they were all very handy and very helpful. The dining area was very pleasant. They had all kinds of activities like Bingo and arts and crafts, and they had an exercise area."

"My father moved into assisted living about two years ago. He was transferred into memory care about six months ago. Oakmont of Orange is well designed to transition residents as their care needs increase over time, all within the same facility. The food is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable and well designed. The atmosphere is superb. Activities are engaging and geared towards the abilities and cognitive levels of residents. The staff is caring in their approach to the residents and guests. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Oakmont of Orange has done an excellent job of keeping the residents safe and healthy. There have been restrictions on non essential visitors, but it has paid off to limit exposure to the residents. I would highly recommend Oakmont of Orange."

"My friend moved into Bliss Care Home. This is a boarding place. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very nice. Everything is very nice. It has a nice backyard, lots of fruit trees, an area where they can sit out, and a covered gazebo. Their living atmosphere is friendly, quiet, and nice. They have activities for the guests. The other three women that are there are nice. She has someone to converse with. I would put someone in there again if I had to. I would use their services again. I haven't found a problem with them."

"My mom is at Sunrise of Yorba Linda. I'm very happy with it. They take very good care of her. My mom is 100, so she requires a lot of care, and they're very kind and very good to her. I'm very pleased with them. The place is very nice. The staff members are right on top of everything. They take good care of the people."

"My mom is doing good here. The staff is friendly; the facility is clean. My mom likes the food that they serve. She has no complaints so far. "

"My father will be moving here. It was very welcoming. The caregivers were very attentive to the people they were watching over. They had activities. They knew people by name. I felt like it was a family to them and not just people that they were just checking off. It very much felt like they really knew the person. It wasn't like they just left them in the room and didn't do anything. They're attentive, friendly, seem happy, and very interested in who they were speaking to at the time. It was clean and was acessible by wheelchair, walker or cane. I also like that the memory care also goes to the assisted living side as well. They kind of intermix, and I like that. They had a nice outside area that was shaded, but there were sunny areas that people can go to also, little patios and nice little entertainment areas. The dining area seemed nice, and the rooms were nice."

"My aunt and uncle moved to Bayshire Yorba Linda. They can accommodate a lot of things. The grounds are kept clean and the atmosphere is very inviting. It was very spacious. It didn't seem like everything was kind of crammed in. The people that we met there were very helpful and very kind. We haven't run into any problems as far as helping my aunt and uncle. The food is very good. My uncle is not as social as my aunt. Even within memory care, they have a lot of activities to stimulate their brain, and to keep them busy. We've been very happy with the available activities. The value of memory care is awesome. It's pretty reasonable."

"I was impressed with Walnut Village. It's sheer perfection. I would've been very happy going there, but it just wasn't time for me to go into that kind of a facility. The person during the tour was charming, very knowledgeable, and very pleasant. He made it sound like it would be wonderful. The dining area was like going to a very fancy restaurant. It was really a nice place. They also have a little coffee shop. I saw one woman working out in the gym with a trainer. Everybody was so pleasant and so happy. It's a lovely place."

"I toured. The rooms were really nice; the majority were private. They had an open house type of event when I was there, which was kind of cool, and I met a few people. Liza was very nice. She gave me a good tour. They had some nice amenities like the library and entertainment room."

"Capriana was still under construction when we went there. The staff that we were working with were phenomenal. The facility is phenomenal, their building is phenomenal, and so the cost is phenomenal. "

"We went over to the memory care section. The staff seemed very friendly and very helpful. I think for the type of people that are in there, the facilities were very good. What's difficult there is there are a lot of people sitting around in chairs and wheelchairs staring out into space and that's kind of hard to see. It's like, "Oh gosh, I don't want my mom in here." That kind of struck me that my mom is not at this level yet as I went through there. There's a garden area and a courtyard. It's a beautiful facility."

"We did see another Emeritus as well, and I would score it higher than the other Emeritus just because of the room size. I didn’t see there are smaller rooms at this one, and the one that I was shown over there was a studio, but the patio spaces are much larger and they have a lot of extra rooms whereas the other one was very tiny. The staff was really nice, and she liked that, but then the size of the room was too little. It doesn’t have very good parking at all, and I couldn’t even remember a patio; they said they have one, but I couldn’t even remember it. We saw the calendar of activities, and I do think their location was nice for me because I have kids. They have a little shopping center there, they have a movie theatre, and they have a park that they could walk because of those things; having a kid and having my mom in a wheelchair, I thought there was a place that we could go without having to get her out in a car. I kind of like the outdoor activities, but that’s not really part of the Emeritus, and I kind of like the location. "

"My mother was at Richman Gardens in Fullerton for over 3 years and has just past away at the age of 88. She had dementia, COPD, and heart problems. I can't say enough about this facility, the workers were always friendly and very helpful and always gave my mother the best care possible even if she didn't want it. They always called me right away if something wasn't right about my mom and I trusted them with my mom. She loved the place and wasn't scared there at all. The place is small only 26 beds but that is exactly what I liked about it! The gardens are amazing and very relaxing. Sincerely Linda W. "
