My mother did not receive good care. When help was I have the health issues nothing was done. Staff is undertrained and mostly on phones. Very dirty visiting area could here staffs personal innapropte conversations

My Grandmother is a resident at this facility in Howland, Maine. The staff is fabulous to it's residents and treats them with dignity and respect that they deserve. Food service is great and always prepared to the residents liking with an alternative for those who would like something else. I have spent much time visiting and am always amazed at the tender, loving manner in which residents are spoken to. The atmosphere is homey and sweet with a living room and dining room. Several staff members have been there for years and enjoy working with the folks who have made this their home. The only thing that is lacking is the administration as they without close supervision of family members make decisions that are not always what is wanted. Overall with family participation this is one of the better Assisted Living Facilities I have visited.
