My mom stayed at Morgan City Healthcare for a month. The nurses were very sincere, kind and friendly. They were like family. They kept us informed. I didn't eat the food but it looked and smelled good. I just didn't like that my mother didn't get the therapy she needed. The staff grouped 12 patients at a time in a circle. They just worked with all of patients at the same time. My mom had dementia so she didn't understand what they were saying. They didn't have time to go to each patient to encourage and help them. We also had to tell the staff to mop the floor. It was sticky and sometimes it stank. They put the wrong glue underneath the floor so it was seeping out. They couldn't take it off.
