"My loved one was at Windsor Gardens Bardstown. They were fine. The assisted living side was very nice. They have their own apartment. It's older so it was not as nice and the food wasn't that tasty. They had different music groups come in. They had bingo, painting, and exercises."

"The Grandview was an excellent facility; it’s beautiful and well-decorated. The rooms were large, clean and bright. There was a courtyard where you could see a water fountain and nice landscaping. The people care, the staff was very caring and attentive. Cleanliness was outstanding. "

"My father came to Sunrise Manor for physical therapy to regain strength after a 2 week stay in the hospital and being diagnosed with dementia. He received excellent care and attention by all the staff from front office to nursing care. He went into hospice care and still received continuous care from the staff along with hospice nurses. I highly recommend this facility to anyone searching for physical therapy or also long term care for a loved one."

"My mother moved into The Willows at Harrodsburg. So far, it's been wonderful. The staff has been great. Her room is perfect, I couldn't ask for anything better. She gets fed 3 times a day. I've tried the food and it's very, very accommodating. There are all kinds of things that they do there. The atmosphere is very pleasant and enjoyable. It's just a good place for someone to be in, to meet people and do things. I would just say that it's just a feels-like home place. It's a beautiful place."

"My mom moved into Walker's Trail Senior Living. It was close to my home, which was important to me in terms of being able to visit. They had availability and it was newer and had good reviews in the past. The staff is very good with the residents and there's good communication about what's going on there. So that was kind of important to me. They have some gardening that they do, puzzles, and just some small events on campus. So that's kind of what she's involved with. The food is all right, not great, and some other meals are ok. I think her room is nice. She has a shared bathroom, which is maybe not ideal, but it's a fairly new community. And there's a nice window, it's spacious, and there's a lot of light."

"My mother has been at Morning Pointe in Danville since May of 2023. This has been a journey for her to say the least. Leaving her home of 60 years was very hard for the entire family but especially her! The staff at Morning Pointe is always willing to step in for whatever need she has. My mother tells everyone that if she can’t be home this is a great place to be. I think the entire family feels the same way ♥️ Each and every staff member… from the front door to the back door and every where in the middle is friendly and always happy to help out in anyway they can. I’m thankful my mother is there"

"My parents moved to Liberty Care and Rehabilitation Center. They're doing therapy on and off. It's not an apartment. It's a nursing home. There's two of them in a room and the rooms could be bigger. They do keep it clean. It doesn't smell at all. The staff, I don't like it because they get agency nurses from time to time, so they don't know what's going on. They're always shorthanded and they're not always checking in the room to see how my mother or father are doing. We have a lot of unhappiness about that part. I tried their food a couple of times and my mother hates their food. They are hired out from the company. They're not employees of this nursing home but they have tried working with my mom on trying to find things that she can eat. If they don't like plan A, then they try to go to plan B."

"The building is clean. The staff are welcoming and happy. They treat the residents like their own grandparents. There is always plenty for the residents to do and the activity staff are so special. The food is good and the new addition of the the buffet is a huge hit. "

"We moved our mother from a luxury senior living community in Lexington, KY to Parkview Manor in Danville, where we now live, after she needed more skilled care than an independent community could offer. At first, we were worried about the move, but unlike her previous facility which was close to lots of traffic, this is in a quiet wooded neighborhood setting, with a very nice park adjacent to the facility, making it more comfortable and homey. In addition, the staff is so kind to her, and we can drop in, anytime, to take her out or spend time with her without calling ahead. We have peace of mind and are happy with the decision we made to move her to Parkview Manor. If you’re looking for a place with a family atmosphere, a welcoming environment, friendly southern hospitality, and a great value, you should look into Parkview Manor for your loved one. "

"The staff at Danville Centre go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and important. From the CNAs to dietary aides they always made sure my loved one got what they needed with a smile! They have so many fun trips and adventures for the residents from live bands, festivals at the facility, and over night trips! The staff truly care! "
