"Owsley County Health Care Center offers a wonderful environment for residents and visitors alike. The facility itself is very clean and well maintained. The outside grounds offer several parking spots for visitors, and offer a serene environment for visitors to enjoy with residents. The inside of the facility is properly cleaned and sanitized. There is a lovely sitting area found when one enters the front doors of the nursing home. A front office can be found when one enters the facility to assist with any questions, etc. The staff at OCHCC is very courteous and helpful. Residents are treated with respect; and, their quality of life and safety are top priorities. Amenities include different shower rooms for residents, a large dining room, activity room, outside smoking areas, vending machines, etc. One only need to ask if they require assistance while visiting. My many experiences of visiting family members who were residents at this facility have always been very pleasant and rewarding. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one who needs assisted living. "

"Chapel house in corbin is a ok place they have a very friendly staff and everything is clean an neat you can tell people actully care there unlike most places, the only problem is that it a expensive place they seem to wanna make it rich on one person but other than that it is a really nice place and would recommmend it to anyone that needs assistance "

"The Heritage Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Facility, in Corbin Kentucky, is second to none. The facility is clean and well kept. The staff is very competent in all services they provide. Servant minded employees with serving hearts to offer the best care to all their residents. The management and staff offer the residents unending love and personal support even in difficult times and situations. Being quick to respond to everyone’s needs. Being polite and caring, gives The Heritage facility an awesome reputation for anyone seeking their services. At the Heritage facility the residents have the opportunity to participate in social activities daily including; playing cards, bingo, board games, celebrating birthdays to movie nights and special events offered by the staff. The staff also participates in special occasions, such as, honoring our Veterans and sponsoring local events such as, “The Walk to End Alzheimer’s” and being a part of “The Tri-county Abuse Council for Elders”. Also, on Sunday’s the residents may participate in Church services provided by area Pastors and Singers. The Rehab facility has all the latest amenities and qualified staff to support the residents who need their services to help strengthen their physical needs. It is my opinion if anyone is looking for a complete offering of Nursing Home care and Rehabilitation services for a loved one, then, The Heritage and Rehabilitation facility certainly should be considered a High Priority!"

"Corbin Health & Rehab has been great. They really work with us and gotten to know my father. They're taking great care of him and they've been able to build communication with him. They keep up with his care. He does not participate in a lot of activities because of his medical issues. But I know that they have different church services that come in. They also have bingo, checkers, they just did a Valentine's party. Last Christmas and New Year's, they gave a lot of the residents little noisemakers and you can hear them all over the building. I know there's a calendar of things that the residents can do. The food has been really good. My father seems to like everything. The times I've been there, it's been good and a well-balanced meal. They cater to his liking, too. He's a chocolate nut, so they always have something chocolate on his plate. The rooms to me are a little bit small and cramped. But for his needs, it's been okay. Overall, it's been a good experience. "

"My mother is now at Hillcrest Health And Rehabilitation Center. It is a little old but fine. The people we talked to who have their parents or grandparents there seem to like it. The staff members seem to be very nice and helpful. The food is great. For $2, we can eat with my mother. We have eaten with her two or three times already. They do a lot of different activities, like games, bingo, and singing. They have great activities, and residents seem to love it. My mother seems to love the activities. The rooms are nice and clean. They got a great price. It's cheaper than most places we looked at. For what you're getting, I think the value is great."

"My father has moved into Williamsburg Nursing Home. I would rate them very high. It's very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and a very positive attitude there. I can't really think of anything negative to say about them. They offer all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and professional. They take a lot of time with their residents. They're very helpful. A lot of times the aides will just come in and sit with him and talk to him, so he likes that. He has to have a feeding tube now. He's lost his ability to swallow, and he's getting physical therapy as far as movement and things like that. It's clean, it's not brand new, but it's well-kept. Activities are available. They have like an atrium with like a cabinet full of live birds that fly around. He likes to sit in there and look at them. I'm sure if he was more able, they would involve him in activities. It's not cheap, but it's not as expensive as the other place. It's a good value for the money."
