My father was a resident there and we were very impressed with the care provided. He was welcomed as family and the staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend Richmond if you need a good place for a family member.

If you love your family member don't let them come here. My mother was there after battling doubled pneumonia the antibiotics messed up her kidneys so she needed to have dialysis. She had state-funded health care this was the option that was given to us. We know that places like this are not always ideal but usually if you have an attentive family it can work. But we did not take into account the incompetence of the staff. So her dialysis ports were no longer needed because her kidneys started functioning the way they were supposed to but due to everything she sit for nearly two weeks with her ports still in. Which the staff improperly maintained. So she got an infection on her port lines which led straight to her heart. Destroying her heart and killing her. So like I said if you love your family member don't let them come here.
