I like that the Redbud Plaza Assisted Living was close to home. I like that it was kind of a small facility, and it seemed to be pretty well cared for. It was also close, just right next door to the hospital and the physical therapy center. It's older, and it shows that it is. It was clean, though, and they have a beauty and barber shop. We had a scheduled appointment, but when we walked in, the staff there acted as if she didn't know what we were talking about. After a few minutes, though, she was fine. She was very friendly and gave us the tour. I was just a little put off at first. The dining area was small, but the lighting was fine. The place had a nice view for the residents to sit out in the front and look out. They were also decorated for Christmas during my visit, and that was nice.
