Country Place Senior Living Lyons

I've seen Country Place Senior Living Lyons. It's fine. Right now, it's full, but I've had a father-in-law living there. They're nice and very accommodating trying to get you in, but they're too expensive, and not everyone can afford that kind of a price. My father-in-law was there until he passed about three years ago. It was a good experience. He had a private one-bedroom suite. You bring in your own furniture. It's very nice, beautiful, and well cared for. Back then, the staff was very good and took good care of him. I don't know now, but I don't hear anybody complain. A friend's mother is in there right now, and she's very pleased, so I'm sure that the staff is still just as good now as it was then. They had so many activities. They would do fireworks on the Fourth of July. They would do movie night, and they had a big patio out there. They would have ice-cream socials a lot, they celebrated each individual’s birthday, and they would have holidays like a Thanksgiving dinner. They would make it very nice, and they opened it up for all the families who wanted to come, and it was beautiful. They made it very fancy and very classy. They would have a lot of different schools and programs come in and perform for them. They would host Chamber Coffees, so people would come and do coffee, and they would have ice-cream-and-pie socials. They would open it up to the whole town, so people would come in and sit with the residents and do that. They would have exercise activities, bingo, and all kinds of activities and things going on for the residents in there all the time. My father-in-law had some problems with the food, but most of the time, they seemed to do a pretty good job with cooking.
