Windsor Manor Algona had a lot of amenities, like a hair salon. They have lots of places to do different activities, they've always got things going on. They have individualized menu plans, where people can pick out what they want for each of their meals. It's clean, new, and welcoming staff. I met with the marketing manager and the director; they're pleasant and willing to answer questions. They have a walking path, an outside gazebo, a van to take them to different places, an aviary, and a pet therapy dog.

My father was at Windsor Manor, but he was only there three months before he passed away. The level of care changed during his stay there. He was pretty much on his own to begin with, and then, they put him on the memory care unit of the assisted living section towards the end. He had fantastic care there. It was very up-to-date, very modern, and very clean. The care, the room, and the services were great. The staff did everything to help him if they could. It had a friendly atmosphere. I would recommend them.
