"I moved my mother into Assisted Living here from another state 2 years ago. Although she was apprehensive about moving, she was allowed to bring both her small dog and her cat, and she loved it right away. The building is beautiful and well-kept, the food is incredible, and the staff is responsive and caring. She’s making friends, eating well, getting the medical attention she needs, and most of all, participating in activities again! As her dementia has progressed I've had to move her into Memory Care, and she is well-cared for and happy. The staff made sure her transition was smooth. She especially enjoys crafts and live music performances. I am so thankful to have found this wonderful home for my Mom. "

"Harvest Hill was very nice, very clean, and very friendly, but I could not afford it. The rooms were very clean. You have your own bathroom and walk-out patio. The rooms were a good size. You could have a bed, a couch, and your own bathroom. The patio was very nice. It's very pretty scenery. The people in this community were very friendly."

"Quail Hollow Senior Living Community has been wonderful. We enjoyed it here and we've made a lot of friends. The leasing agent is probably one of the most caring people that we've come across in years. She is very, very good. We have a very, very good maintenance person, too. Each resident is given a key to the front door and the fob, which they put in front of this light and it turns from red to green and the door opens. If you don't have a key, you don't get in. Our building is brand new. We have bingo games and dominoes and there's something going on in the dining room almost every day. We probably have the best apartment in the place. We're on the second floor and at the end of the hall. It's 133 steps from the front door of the elevator, but that's fine. The apartments are good. There are single bedrooms and double bedrooms and they are all very nice."

"The one I liked the best is Kendal at Hanover. It feels actually like a college campus. It's over a large area and there's quite a selection of living units. It is continuing care or CCRC. It's also next to a reserve where there's a lot of walking trails. For somebody who wants independent living and plenty of chances to stay active, they have activities there and they have very nice fitness facilities. The staff was friendly and very enthusiastic. There were apartments, but I liked the ones that were single-story attached. They were small, but enough for me. They had a beautiful dining room and the gym had very good equipment and spaces for classes. One of the big attractions for me was being able to get out and go for a walk. I saw quite a number of people walking their dogs, so it's pet-friendly. It's near Darthmouth College, so you can go to plays and stuff if you want."
