"Harvest Hill was beautiful. They had apartments and some of them were leaning towards being studio apartments. The other problem we had was we have two dogs and they allow one dog, but not two dogs, and that was a big issue. The staff was very good and really nice. Everybody was kind of busy when I was there. They had a really nice outdoor area, a nice porch, and different areas in the complex where you could gather together as a group if you want to do that. They had activities and a lot of stuff going on. They had a huge backyard out into the woods."

"We toured The Woodlands. I like the facility, and the staff seem to be an adequate number. They all seem to be interested in their residents. The rooms are all nicely kept up and well-built. They seemed to have a lot of activities."

"Quail Hollow Senior Living Community has been wonderful. We enjoyed it here and we've made a lot of friends. The leasing agent is probably one of the most caring people that we've come across in years. She is very, very good. We have a very, very good maintenance person, too. Each resident is given a key to the front door and the fob, which they put in front of this light and it turns from red to green and the door opens. If you don't have a key, you don't get in. Our building is brand new. We have bingo games and dominoes and there's something going on in the dining room almost every day. We probably have the best apartment in the place. We're on the second floor and at the end of the hall. It's 133 steps from the front door of the elevator, but that's fine. The apartments are good. There are single bedrooms and double bedrooms and they are all very nice."

"Kendal is a wonderful retirement community. I was impressed with both the professionalism of the staff and the attentiveness of every employee we encountered. They seem to strive to know their residents and provide a safe environment. Even the food was wonderful! The location is beautiful and I can't imagine a better place to receive both the care and concern needed at this stage of life. It is always difficult to face the decison on where to have a loved one relocate. My Grandfather had no desire to move from his home, but it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to live on his own. With the visits to several homes in the area, we seemed to be getting the same "hospital" feeling and watching people that seemed abandoned. We did not want him to feel this way. Kendal was a very different experience and was very warm and inviting. Within the first half hour, he had found people to share war stories and seemed "at home". It was a wonderful thing to see and gave us some piece of mind with the decision we had to make. It truly is a wonderful place! "

"I visited Summercrest Senior Living. It’s a relatively new facility, and we obviously got a good impression. The residents that we saw seemed to be active, engaged, and happy. There were sufficient activities based on the calendar of activities, and the meals appeared to be well-balanced, and there's a big meal at lunchtime rather than a big dinner in the evening. Everyone we met was very considerate, nice, informative, and we would actually consider placing our relatives there. I did not like that there were not a lot of outdoor space for the residents. Basically, there’s a parking lot in front and a cemetery in the back. The staff was awesome, spent close to two hours with us, answered all our questions, and gave us the information we needed."
