"Canyon Place Senior Living was wonderful. From the moment I walked in there, I had such a good feeling about it. It felt like you walked into a new hotel. I liked the cleanliness. The atmosphere was so wonderful. The little girl who manages the place, Patty, came up and did the whole tour with us helped me fill out the application, and let us know what we needed. I met several who lived there and they let me know what night they would play bingo. I asked around about anyone who crocheted because I like to crochet. I met a man who likes to play dominoes, and that's what I like, too. So, I met some very interesting people. It has a homey atmosphere and it feels warm when you come in. It was everything I had prayed about and I'm very devout in praying when I am making any major decisions in my life until I'm led to it. Patty helped us with everything and she is such a strong Christian. Another lady was going up to her apartment and she had a little Schnauzer and that made me feel good. She said, "We have lots of fur babies here." We had a little snack. We just had a great time. My son-in-law and daughter were with me over there. It was beautiful and I've been sending videos of the inside of my apartment to be. I got the very last ground floor apartment so I felt like that right there was a gift from God. He had answered my prayers because everything just worked out wonderfully. I couldn't have asked for better. The rooms are huge so I am going to have a huge bed."
