"I went to The Vincent Senior Living and toured their independent living community. I like the way everything was set up. I liked all the options and everything that they had available, and the price for what they had. I also liked the amenities they had and the sense of family there. It had a very homey feeling. They have a coffee shop and a gym with bikes and other things. They have a hair salon and a movie theater. I think they also have a library. They had a lot of construction going on, but I'm sure it's going to be fine once that's all done."

"I toured Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living. Each person was very professional. I met with the representative of the assisted living property. She took me on a tour. She was kind and courteous. She gave me a packet for my review, and everything was well organized. I saw some of the residents, and they were happy. The representative interacted with the residents, and it was nice. There were a variety of rooms, each one depending on the size. It had different amenities, but would have been more than enough to facilitate one person. It was very clean and well-kept, like nothing was out of place."

"My Mom has recently moved to Azalea Estates in New Iberia. The change was difficult for her since she has lived on the same street for 90 years. The staff at Azalea has helped to make her welcome and eased the transition to this new place. They treat her like family which is the best thing about them. "I had a friend who was at Rosewood Assisted Living. It's a really nice place. I've had more experience with Rosewood than I have had with any of the other ones. The facility was well done and well constructed. The rooms were very nice. I don't recall which room I saw because it was not a tour. As for my visitation with the people who live there, they were well pleased with the facility, and they had a lot of good, positive things to say about the care they received. The comments would be basically positive. I really like Rosewood. I think it would be a good place. Everything was top rate as far as food, amenities, activities, and social structure goes. Those kinds of things were very good."
